SÓNIA NOBRE

Technical and Pedagogical Director

Mother of two daughters, she always knew that her purpose in life was to work with children. Sónia graduated in Early Childhood Education from the Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa. She then moved to London, where she discovered the open-door policy (Free-Flow access to the outdoors), in which kindergarten children must have direct access to the outside to benefit from a balanced educational context. While working, she supplemented her course with a master's in School Management from King's College London and consistently invests in supplementary studies focused on Childhood and Family Relations. With over 14 years of experience working with children, her last role was as Head of Early Years and member of the Leadership Team at a Primary School in central London. Much more than following a methodology, educational practices that honour the child as a complete human being from birth are the focus of Sónia's interest.

SARA FEREIRA

Early Years Teacher

Cheerful, dedicated and passionate about life, Sara seeks to provide a connection with all the senses through the exploration of Nature so that each child feels unique and special. She took the Pre-Bologna Degree in Childhood Education at the Lisbon School of Education.
Being innately curious, she studied Erasmus in Italy, where she developed her taste for making tools available to children to create, discover, invent, imagine, explore, and feel so that each day is a discovery, a stage for new learning.
Sara was part of a missionary team in Mozambique, joining her knowledge in Early Childhood Education with school environments with few material resources but rich in natural resources. In 2017, she created a daycare project from scratch to respond to a need in the community where she was inserted. Her commitment and persistence determined the project's success that still impacts the lives of dozens of families.
